One line in the author's description says it all "Eliminating all sugars from your diet WILL do you harm."

It is obvious the author does not know basic nutrition. Eliminating sugar from the diet is far from harmful, a person does not need to consume even one once of carbs per day to live and live well. Totally bogus, and not sure how any publisher bought into this.
Cassie's book is informative and provides solid reasons to underline her anecdote which is EXACTLY the same as my dreadful experience on a 'ketogenic' diet 5 years ago! Eleven months in I came up with chronic thyroid problems, really bad blood work (calcium through the roof), bad skin, hair falling out, migranes and really bad muscle pain. So glad to understand the reasons for this and hope this book turns many more people away from the suffering I experienced!
After reading Sarah Wilson's "I Quit Sugar', as a part of my research for my Natural Health degree, I then found Cassie Platt's book. It has very important information on how sugar is used by the body, contradicting much of Sarah's information.

It's easy to read and makes a lot of sense.

However, I'm disappointed that the title chosen is a smack in the eye for Sarah's book and seems designed to gain sales momentum off the back of the rival publication.
